A DIVERSE ORGANISATION
Home to 10,000 students, researchers and artists every year, over 140 nationalities, 40 houses and a host of services, the Cité Internationale offers a unique setting backed by a remarkable organisation.
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is unique among French universities and institutions. It is run by a private body, the Fondation Nationale, and is listed as a public-interest organisation. It manages on-site services and 18 residences. The other 22 houses each represent a country or Grande Ecole and have their own legal status.

A HUB FOR ARTS AND CULTURE
Every year, the Cité Internationale hosts 1,000 events in arts and culture, organised by houses, residents and specialist services.
Culture is a cornerstone of life at the Cité Internationale. In addition to its theatre, the campus is also home to an orchestra, choir and heritage centre. It offers a range of services for those researching information either as a hobby or for the purposes of work or studies.

SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES
Covering everything from seminars and forums to award ceremonies, board meetings and receptions, the Seminars and Conferences service is on hand to provide help and advice to organise your events in beautiful surroundings.
The Cité Internationale offers an outstanding setting, providing event organisers with a complete raft of services including venue rental, catering, technical installations and staffing.

The Cité Internationale has now reached a turning point and is on the verge of launching a wide-ranging development campaign to renovate and enhance its architectural heritage, pursue intellectual and cultural projects and offer new scholarships. Why not support to this new drive?
WELCOME TO THE CITÉ INTERNATIONALE UNIVERSITAIRE DE PARIS
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris was founded in the early 1920s in a bid to promote harmony by providing accommodation and facilities to foster ties between talented young people from all over the world.
The Cité Internationale’s 40 houses welcome some 10,000 residents a year, including students, researchers, visiting professors, artists and sportsmen from over 140 countries. It provides quality accommodation complete with a wide range of services (featuring a theatre, library, restaurant, sports facilities, support services and more) and aims to create a forum for exchange and debate at the highest level.
Nearly a century has gone by since it was founded, yet the Cité Internationale continues to work tirelessly to provide accommodation and support for international residents. The Cité’s park spans 34 hectares and is home to the most extensive range of student accommodation in the Paris region, forming a unique patchwork of linguistic and cultural diversity in the French capital.

House of Ile-de-France
We looked forward to jury deliberation which would determine the architect of the future House of Île-de-France at the Cité internationale. The decision was taken: the design of the house was entrusted to the agency A / NM / A Nicolas Michelin & Associates.
It is expected that the House of Île-de-France received its first foreign students and researchers from autumn 2014. Feature of this complex: it will be the first of the City which international finance and project management will be fully insured by a local authority: the Ile-de-France. Next operation is the Cité internationale universitaire of Paris who will be responsible.
